Samsung is expanding its tablet lineup with the upcoming launch of two mid-range tablets, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. The news comes shortly after the company unveiled its latest high-end tablets, the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
According to reports from SamMobile, Samsung is working on the FE version of its flagship tablets. This isn’t the first time rumors about the Galaxy Tab S9 FE have surfaced online. Last week, details about the design and specifications of the + version were leaked, and now Samsung’s official website confirms that a regular version will also be available.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ recently received certification from the FCC, revealing some key features. It is expected to sport a 12.4-inch display, the same size as the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. The tablet is also rumored to be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, which promises more power compared to the Snapdragon 750G chipset found in the regular Tab S7 FE. However, it’s worth noting that the 5G version of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE was powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset.
In terms of connectivity, the tablet is expected to support 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. It will also come with an S Pen, dual rear cameras, and stereo speakers. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ is rumored to be available in both Wi-Fi and 5G variants.
While leaks and rumors about these mid-range tablets have been circulating, Samsung has not made any official announcements regarding their release. In addition to the tablets, the company is also reportedly working on a next-generation Galaxy SmartTag and a Smart Ring.
