Russian Woman Dies in Tragic Fall from Seventh-Floor Condo in Pattaya, Thailand: Boyfriend’s Actions Under Investigation
Pattaya, Thailand – A young Russian woman met a tragic end when she fell from the seventh floor of a condominium in Jomtien on August 13. The incident, which is currently being investigated by the police, has raised concerns about the involvement of the victim’s boyfriend, whose actions are now under scrutiny.
The victim, identified as Daria Iuzifiak, a 32-year-old Russian national, was discovered on the ground floor of Building A at the Seven Seas Condominium in Na Jomtien. She was found in a pool of blood, with her lower body exposed. At the scene, the victim’s boyfriend, Oeaop Nbahobny Fedor, a 30-year-old Russian national, was arrested and taken to the Na Jomtien Police Station for further questioning.
The investigation took a distressing turn when closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the condominium premises revealed a sequence of events leading up to the tragic incident. The footage captured Daria Iuzifiak exiting her seventh-floor unit’s window and hanging outside, with her boyfriend briefly holding onto her legs before releasing his grip. This resulted in her fatal fall to the ground below.
The circumstances surrounding the incident have raised doubts about the intentions of the boyfriend. It remains unclear whether he was attempting to save the victim or if he played a role in her demise.
Currently, Fedor remains in police custody and is facing charges of intoxication and disorderly conduct. Investigators have faced challenges in gathering information from him due to his intoxicated state and uncooperative behavior. His initial statement, claiming that he was not in the room when Daria jumped out of the window, contradicted the evidence captured on the CCTV footage.
Law enforcement authorities have taken steps to obtain court authorization to detain the suspect on charges of intentional homicide. However, this decision is contingent upon a thorough examination of the available evidence and witness testimonies.
In the latest update, the court has refrained from granting permission to arrest the suspect due to insufficient evidence. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work diligently to gather further evidence and statements in order to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of the young Russian woman.
