Russian Occupiers Stealing Cars in Kherson Region; Woman Killed Defending Property
In the occupied part of the Kherson region, Russian occupants are resorting to mass theft of cars as they potentially prepare for an escape. Tragically, a woman lost her life in the village of Olhyne while bravely defending her property against these invaders.
The Center for National Resistance reported on October 2nd that local underground sources have documented numerous car theft cases in various settlements like Chaplynka, Zaliznyi Port, and Mali Kopani.
According to the Center for National Resistance, panic has gripped the occupiers due to the successful actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This has led to growing discussions among Russian aggressor troops regarding their escape from the temporarily occupied cities and villages.
As a result, there has been a recent surge in the theft of personal cars belonging to the local population, as well as incidents of looting. Shockingly, Russian military personnel have even opened fire on locals who attempt to defend their property, resulting in the tragic death of a woman in Olhyne.
The Center for National Resistance revealed that they possess lists of Russian military personnel involved in looting within the occupied territories, and they have vowed that justice will be served.
Reports from Henichesk, in the Kherson region, highlight that Russian invaders are taking advantage of the situation by seizing people’s household appliances, alcohol, and even food, disguising it as confiscation. Disturbingly, farmers have had as much as 200 kg of meat and a ton of grain confiscated from them.
The situation in the Kherson region warrants international attention, and it is imperative that a solution is found to protect the innocent civilians caught in this conflict. The successful actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces should be commended, but it is crucial to remain vigilant and ensure that any attempts by Russian occupiers to escape or further harm the local population are thwarted.
It is our hope that justice will prevail and that the Russian occupiers engaging in theft, looting, and violence are held accountable. The people of the Kherson region deserve peace and security, free from the grip of aggression and criminal activities.
