Representing not only himself but also his family, church, and culture is a super special thing for Kokoris, who coached Greece in the 2021 European Championships in Turin, Italy.
In his role as bullpen coach for the Round Rock Express, Kokoris works extensively with pitching data. He plays a vital role in developing the pitching staff and takes pride in guiding pitchers who have the potential to be called up to a first-place MLB team. Born and raised in southern California, Kokoris brings a deep appreciation to his work every day, as he didn’t have the opportunity to play baseball in college or professionally.
Kokoris also emphasizes the importance of the mental aspect of pitching. He helps players on the mound focus on execution and deal with the pressures of the game. His expertise and guidance have contributed greatly to the success of the Express, who currently boast an impressive 52-34 record.
