His lawsuit alleges that YouTube frequently blocks his content based on its medical misinformation policies, and he believes this censorship is influenced by statements from the Biden administration about what information to censor.
One point of contention surrounding Kennedy is a dinner event where he made comments about COVID-19 that some critics found to be antisemitic. He claimed that the virus specifically targeted Caucasians and Black people, while Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese were more immune. Kennedy later clarified his remarks on Twitter, stating that the ethnic effect was not deliberately engineered.
Kennedy’s legal team expresses concern that content from his 2024 presidential campaign is being taken down, and they worry this problem will worsen as primary elections draw nearer. The lawsuit was filed in Delaware, where Google and YouTube are incorporated, while Kennedy resides in New York.
