Full Dress Rehearsal Held in Lucknow for Republic Day Parade
Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh – A full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day parade took place on Tuesday at Vidhan Sabha Marg in Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. Various contingents, including the state police, central forces, and NCC, showcased their marching skills during the rehearsal. School students also participated in the event, adding vibrancy to the proceedings.
The Republic Day parade in Lucknow will see the honorable presence of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, who will take the salute. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be in attendance.
Uttar Pradesh’s tableau, featuring an idol of Ram Lalla, will be the highlight of the Republic Day Parade in the national capital.
In a significant development, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony took place on Monday at the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the rituals. The magnificent Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, constructed in the traditional Nagara style, will house the idol of Shri Ramlalla in its main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor.
The historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony witnessed the presence of representatives from various spiritual and religious sects across the country. People from different walks of life, including representatives of tribal communities, also attended the event.
During his visit, Prime Minister Modi interacted with the shramjeevis who were involved in the construction of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir. He also visited the Kuber Tila, where the ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv has been restored.
