Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the Integrated Simulator Complex (ISC) ‘Dhruv’ at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi, India. The ISC complex will feature modern, state-of-the-art, indigenously built simulators that will enhance practical training in the Indian Navy. The simulators aim to provide real-time experience in navigation, fleet operations, and naval tactics. Friendly countries will also use the facility for personnel training. The complex hosts multiple simulators, including the Multi-Station Handling Simulator, Air Direction and Helicopter Control Simulator, and Astronavigation Dome. Singh also interacted with representatives from the firms involved in developing the simulators. This technologically advanced simulation center supports India’s ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative and offers great defense export potential for the nation. The ISC complex marks a significant development in practical training and will boost the Indian Navy’s capabilities.
