Bengaluru’s Rajendra R emerged victorious in the South Zone round of the FMSCI Reise Indian National Rally Sprint Championship (2W) held on Sunday. With this win, Rajendra further solidified his reputation as India’s top biker. The competition took place in Sarjapur on the outskirts of Bengaluru, where Rajendra showcased his exceptional skills by completing the 10-kilometer course in an impressive time of 7 minutes and 33.59 seconds.
In what can be considered a grand success, the South Zone round of the INRSC saw the participation of some of India’s finest bikers. Suhail Ahmed also made a mark by clinching three podium finishes. He emerged victorious in the Group A Up To 550cc class, and secured second and third positions in the Bullet Class and the Group B 261 To 400cc, respectively.
The event witnessed an electrifying atmosphere, with approximately 120 bikers lining up for the races. Jaidas Menon, the promoter and organizer of the event, expressed his excitement, stating, It was an exciting day of racing. This is great for spectators as they can witness most of the action up close.
Sinan Francis also had a commendable performance, earning crucial points across two categories, including in the highly competitive 550cc Open Class. Meanwhile, Reehana emerged as the winner in the Women’s Class Up To 260cc, defeating a talented field of young and enthusiastic female riders. She achieved an impressive time of 8 minutes and 49.29 seconds.
