Rajasthan Minister Rajendra Singh Gudha has been dismissed from his position following his questioning of the state government on the issue of crimes against women. However, Gudha remains firm in his commitment to speak out against such atrocities, stating that he will continue to raise his concerns regardless of the consequences.

Gudha, who held the position of Minister of State for Sainik Kalyan, Home Guard and Civil Defence, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development, was sacked shortly after challenging his own government during a discussion in the Rajasthan assembly. He criticized the government for being more concerned with issues outside of the state, such as Manipur, rather than addressing the pressing matter of women’s safety within Rajasthan itself.

Undeterred by his dismissal, Gudha asserts that he will persist in his efforts to advocate for the people. He emphasizes that he will work tirelessly on behalf of the public, even if it means facing imprisonment. Gudha condemns the lack of security provided to women in Rajasthan, highlighting the state’s alarming record of crimes against women. He also accuses the police of corruption, accusing them of accepting bribes instead of ensuring the safety of citizens.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has criticized Gudha’s sacking, alleging that it stems from his willingness to speak the truth. Amit Malviya, the head of the BJP’s IT department, tweeted in Hindi, expressing skepticism about the Congress party’s commitment to combating harassment against women.

The situation surrounding Gudha’s dismissal reveals a clash of perspectives and opinions within the government. While the Rajasthan government has taken action against the minister, Gudha remains steadfast in his determination to advocate for the safety and well-being of women in the state. As this story unfolds, it raises questions about the government’s response to crimes against women and the importance of open dialogue on such critical issues.
