Rajasthan Government Forms Guru Gorakhnath Board to Aid Backward Communities
The Rajasthan government has taken a significant step towards addressing the problems faced by the Jogi, Yogi, and Nath communities by forming the Guru Gorakhnath Board. With the aim of providing basic facilities and necessary assistance to these backward classes, the board will identify the challenges and issues plaguing them and submit suggestions to the state government based on a primary survey report.
In an effort to uplift the backward classes, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot approved the proposal to establish the Guru Gorakhnath Board, which will play a crucial role in the development of these communities. The board will provide recommendations to the government for launching various schemes, coordinating with different departments to implement ongoing initiatives, and supporting educational and economic progress in the state.
Additionally, the board will focus on strengthening and renovating religious and cultural landmarks, as well as conducting research on society-related articles, books, and literature. Concrete measures to combat social evils will also be presented to the state government.
The Guru Gorakhnath Board will consist of five non-official members, including a chairman, vice-chairman, and three members. Their expertise and knowledge will contribute to the effective implementation of initiatives and policies designed to uplift the backward communities.
In line with their commitment to public welfare, CM Gehlot recently inaugurated a Mehangai Rahat Camp in Mahapura village, Sanganer, Jaipur district. The camp aims to provide relief to people affected by inflation.
Furthermore, the government of Rajasthan is working diligently to raise awareness about their various public welfare schemes. CM Gehlot emphasized the importance of ensuring citizens are well-informed and can benefit from these initiatives.
Rajasthan is scheduled to hold elections later this year, and these efforts to address the concerns of the backward communities demonstrate the government’s dedication to inclusive development and social welfare.
