RailTel Corporation of India has secured a work order worth Rs 39.37 crore from the National Informatics Centre Services Inc (NICSI) for the implementation of the On-Site Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Network Operations Centre (NOC) under the Immigration, Visa, Foreigner’s Registration and Tracking (IVFRT) project. This project, initiated by the Ministry of Home Affairs under the National e-Governance Plan, aims to modernize and upgrade India’s immigration services.
RailTel, known for its expertise in IT infrastructure management, will oversee the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and training of the SOC and NOC solution, along with five years of support. The SOC and NOC will provide a high availability solution for reliable and secure data processing.
