Union Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt commended Project Sampark of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in Jammu for enhancing the defence potential and constructing and maintaining strategic lines of communication. During his visit to Jammu, Brig Tejpal Singh briefed Bhatt on the use of innovative technologies, such as tunnels on roads, to ensure safer travel and reduce travel times. The minister also received updates on various welfare measures undertaken for the rank and file. Bhatt put on record his appreciation for the hard work of the BRO Karamyogis and paid homage to the martyred soldiers. He expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the ongoing project and applauded Team Sampark for their outstanding job.
