Lucknow, February 16: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is unwell and hospitalised, stated that she will not be able to join her brother, Rahul Gandhi, in the party’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Uttar Pradesh’s Chandauli district. Priyanka expressed her best wishes for her brother and other Congress leaders participating in the Nyay Yatra and assured that she will join them as soon as her health improves.

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, is set to enter Uttar Pradesh later this evening. However, Priyanka, who was scheduled to join her brother in Chandauli, was admitted to the hospital due to her illness. Despite her absence, she conveyed her eagerness to join the Yatra and extended her support to her colleagues from Uttar Pradesh who are diligently preparing for this journey.

I was eagerly waiting for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to reach Uttar Pradesh. But due to an illness, I had to be admitted to the hospital today itself. I will join the Yatra as soon as I feel better. Till then, I give my best wishes to all the Yatris — my dear brother and my colleagues from Uttar Pradesh, who are diligently preparing for the journey — reaching Chandauli-Banaras, Vadra stated in an English post.

Rahul Gandhi is leading the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which started from Manipur and will conclude in Mumbai. Currently passing through Bihar, the Yatra is scheduled to traverse through Uttar Pradesh from February 16 to 21, and then again from February 24 to 25. The Congress has allocated February 22 and 23 as rest days for the Yatra.

The absence of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra due to her hospitalization is a setback for the Congress party, as her presence would have added further momentum to the Nyay Yatra. However, her determination to join the Yatra as soon as her health recovers showcases her dedication and commitment to the cause.

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra aims to highlight the issues faced by the common people and raise awareness about the Congress party’s efforts to address these concerns. With Rahul Gandhi at the helm, the Yatra is expected to resonate with the masses and garner support for the party in the upcoming elections.

As Priyanka Gandhi Vadra recovers, the Congress party eagerly anticipates her involvement in the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Her presence is likely to provide a significant boost to their campaign in Uttar Pradesh and inspire party workers and supporters across the nation.

In the absence of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party will continue their journey, connecting with the people, and striving to bring about positive change through the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.
