Detectives investigating a rape in Preston have released an Evo-fit image of a man they would like to identify as part of their investigation.
The Lancashire Constabulary received a report earlier this year about a rape in Conway Park, Fulwood, believed to have occurred in July 2022. In a statement released last night, the police force shared an Evo-fit image of a man they want to speak to regarding their inquiries.
Authorities are asking the public for assistance in solving this case and are urging people to review any potential evidence, such as mobile phone footage, CCTV footage, dashcam footage, or doorbell camera footage from the time of the incident. If anyone has information that could assist the investigation, they are encouraged to contact the police on 101.
Detective Constable Freya Whelan from Preston CID stated, Our investigation is still ongoing, and we are appealing to identify the man in the Evo-fit image. If you are reading this appeal, please take a close look at the image. If you recognize this individual or have any footage from that time that you believe may be useful to our investigation, whether it’s from a mobile phone, CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell camera, I urge you to come forward.
