Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for leading the emergence of a new India, stating that the country’s 1.42 billion people have witnessed remarkable progress under his leadership. Three pundits assisted PM Modi during the worship ceremonies, and he was presented with a picture by the Secretary of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple Trust.
CM Yogi Adityanath further highlighted the positive impact of PM Modi’s governance, stating that his leadership facilitated the effective implementation of welfare schemes for the poor, making India not just a developing nation but also the best India. At the Braj Raj Utsav, PM Modi, CM Yogi Adityanath, and Governor Anandi Ben Patel jointly unveiled a commemorative postage stamp featuring Meera Bai and a special coin of Rs 525 honoring her on the occasion of her 525th birth anniversary. The event also included the screening of a documentary film about Sant Meera Bai, produced by the Union Ministry of Culture. Actress and Member of Parliament Hema Malini performed a mesmerizing dance drama portraying Meera’s love for Lord Krishna, garnering warm applause from the audience.
The Braj Raj Utsav celebrated the rich cultural heritage of Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Gokul, Nandgaon, and Govardhan, reflecting the government’s dedication to preserving and promoting these sacred sites.
