Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday, September 14. The Prime Minister will begin his visit by flagging off two Vande Bhart trains from Rani Kamlapati station at 11 am. PM Modi will then attend a meeting of 3,000 booth-level workers at Motilal Nehru Stadium from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm. However, his roadshow got cancelled due to heavy rain alert in the city.
The PM’s arrival and stay in Bhopal will be closely monitored by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is himself looking after all the preparations for the visit. In this regard, Chouhan held a review meeting to inspect every detail.
As per the Prime Minister’s minute-to-minute schedule, he will leave for Bhopal from Delhi at 8:35 am on Tuesday and reach Bhopal airport by 9:50 am. Following the protocol, he will be received by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the airport. From there, PM Modi will head to Barkatullah University and then to Rani Kamlapati station to flag off the two Vande Bharat trains.
After the flagging off ceremony, the Prime Minister will head to Lal Parade Ground to interact with 3,000 booth-level workers at Motilal Nehru Stadium. This conference will continue till 12:15 pm.
This visit by the Prime Minister is expected to be hugely beneficial for the state of Madhya Pradesh and its people, as it brings with it the promise of renewed development efforts and infrastructure upliftment.
The cancellation of the PM’s roadshow has not dampened the enthusiasm of his supporters, who are excited to witness this historic visit. Though the visit is brief, the impact will definitely be long-lasting. Under the watchful leadership of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, all arrangements have been made to ensure the Prime Minister’s visit is a resounding success and is remembered by all.
