New Delhi, January 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed gratitude to world leaders for their Republic Day wishes to India. PM Modi thanked Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal for his Republic Day wishes and mentioned India’s longstanding friendship with Nepal. He also replied to Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth, expressing his desire for continued strengthening of the India-Mauritius bilateral partnership. Furthermore, PM Modi thanked French President Emmanuel Macron for joining India’s Republic Day celebrations and mentioned that his presence will add great impetus to Indo-French relations. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also expressed his gratitude to world leaders for their Republic Day wishes, including those from Tanzania, Iran, and Singapore.
On Friday, PM Modi took to ‘X’ to express his gratitude to Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal for his Republic Day wishes. In response to the wishes from Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth, PM Modi expressed his gratitude and emphasized the importance of the India-Mauritius bilateral partnership. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also took the opportunity to thank world leaders for their Republic Day wishes. He expressed his gratitude to Tanzania’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation January Makamba, Iran’s Foreign Minister H. Amirabdollahian, and Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, among others.
