Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Lights ‘Ram Jyoti’ at His Residence After ‘Pran Pratishtha’ Ceremony

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lit ‘Ram Jyoti’ (earthen lamps) at his residence in Lucknow on Monday evening following the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the idol of Ram Lalla in the newly constructed Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

In sync with the auspicious occasion, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, also lit ‘Ram Jyoti’ after the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya. The Prime Minister shared photos of the sacred moment on social media platforms.

In a tweet, the UP Chief Minister expressed, Welcome Lord Shri Ram! RamJyoti, capturing the essence of the spiritual event.

Encouraging citizens to participate in the celebrations, the Prime Minister urged everyone to light the ‘Ram Jyoti’ and warmly welcome Ram Lalla.

RSS workers, along with their families, celebrated ‘Deepotsav’ at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur, Maharashtra, to commemorate the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Ayodhya Ram Temple.

Adding to the fervor, BJP National President JP Nadda and his family also illuminated oil lamps at their residence in Delhi to mark the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.

During an hour-long ritual, the Ram Lalla idol was unveiled at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the momentous event. The Prime Minister entered the temple premises carrying a silver ‘chattar’ (umbrella) draped with a red folded dupatta.

Rituals took place in the presence of RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inside the temple sanctum. As the ceremony unfolded, devotees and guests reverently chanted ‘Jai Sri Ram.’
