Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa discussed bilateral cooperation, regional and global issues during a phone call on June 10. The two leaders reviewed the progress of the bilateral ties and exchanged views on cooperation in BRICS, as well as regional and global issues of mutual interest, including the Ukraine conflict. The South African President also briefed the Prime Minister on the African Leaders’ Peace Initiative. India reiterated its commitment to resolving conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy. President Ramaphosa conveyed his full support to India’s initiatives as part of its G20 Presidency. The two leaders agreed to remain in touch.
