John Schultz and Gary Hill have recently listed their nine-floor high-rise home in Atlantic City for sale. The property, located at 1616 Pacific Ave., is on the market for $10.9 million. However, Schultz clarified that they are not planning to leave Atlantic City; instead, they are downsizing and starting a new chapter of their lives. Schultz, who was born and raised in the city, expressed his love for Atlantic City and emphasized that leaving was not on their minds. The couple has a lengthy history in Atlantic City, owning several popular LGBTQ-friendly bars and nightclubs. They have resided on Westminister Avenue since 1988 and purchased Casa Del Cielo in 2004. The property underwent extensive renovations, costing nearly $5 million. The ground floor features a three-car garage, while the first six floors accommodate office suites. The couple resides on floors seven to nine, where they enjoy stunning views and various amenities such as a private movie theater, indoor pool, sauna, and gym. The ninth floor serves as the penthouse, housing the master bedroom, bathrooms, and an outdoor patio with a hot tub and vegetable garden. Schultz and Hill are currently building a new townhome on Schultz-Hill Boulevard, named in recognition of their philanthropy and contributions to the local gay community. The townhome will have ample amenities, including a farming garden and a dining room that seats 12. The couple aims to create a comfortable space for themselves as they enter the next stage of their lives together.
