Philadelphia Police Make Arrest in Violent Biker Attack on Driver with Kids in Car
Philadelphia police have successfully apprehended a suspect involved in a shocking incident that took place over the weekend. The individual in question was seen attacking a driver while two young children were present inside the vehicle. Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore took to social media to announce the arrest, expressing gratitude to the public for their valuable tips.
The incident occurred on Sunday in Center City, where the suspect, along with a group of ATV and dirt bike riders, targeted the driver by smashing her windshield. The terrifying ordeal unfolded around 9:40 p.m. near City Hall. In a video captured by a nearby tourism bus, the suspect can be seen climbing on top of the car and using his feet to shatter the rear window. The situation escalated when the driver confronted the assailant, resulting in him retrieving a black handgun from his waistband and pointing it at her.
The driver, identified as Nikki Bullock, was delivering for Uber Eats at the time of the attack. She was accompanied by her girlfriend and their two children, a 5-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son. Bullock recalled that the altercation began when the biker sideswiped her car. As tensions escalated, the suspect jumped off his bike and onto the car, ultimately breaking through the windshield. Bullock decided to exit the vehicle as she had already observed the presence of a gun. A confrontation ensued between her and the rider before he fled the scene with the other bikers.
Thankfully, neither of Bullock’s children were harmed during the incident. Bullock promptly filed a police report and spoke with a detective the next morning. Expressing her relief, she mentioned that her children escaped the ordeal unharmed and referred to them as her guardian angels.
District Attorney Larry Krasner strongly condemned the biker’s behavior, labeling it as completely outrageous. The arrest serves as a significant step towards justice for the victim and her family, providing reassurance to the community that such acts of violence will not go unpunished.
