York Regional Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying two men involved in an alleged armed robbery at a Richmond Hill pharmacy on Tuesday afternoon. During the incident, which occurred near Elgin Mills Road East and Redstone Road at approximately 3:30 p.m., an employee was slapped across the face. According to the police, both suspects had their faces concealed with masks, and one was armed with a knife. They entered the pharmacy and demanded cash before proceeding to fill a bag with narcotics and money. The suspects then left the store and fled the scene in a light-colored sedan. The first suspect is described as a Black male, aged 14 to 15, standing at five-feet seven-inches tall, and having a slim build. He was seen wearing a dark tracksuit, black sneakers, a black mask, and white gloves, while carrying a reusable shopping bag. The second suspect is described as a Black male, six-feet tall with a slim build. He was observed wearing a black hoodie, black track pants, white sneakers, a black mask, and white gloves, and was seen carrying a large kitchen knife. Investigators are requesting the assistance of any witnesses or individuals who may have dashcam or video surveillance footage of the area at the time of the incident. They are urged to come forward and provide any information that may assist in identifying the suspects.
