Paytm Payments Bank, a home-grown payments bank in India, has partnered with ASN to make car parking payments at the Patna Airport more convenient and smoother for commuters. By introducing FASTag payments at the Airport, drivers no longer need to tender cash or wait in lines.
FASTags enable quick access to the airport for entry and exit through a system that reads the radio frequency identification (RFID) sticker on cars, automating the payment process and deducting the applicable parking fees from the user’s Paytm account or wallet. Paytm FASTags are popular for their instant activation, easy on-boarding process with minimal documentation and fantastic customer service support.
Surinder Chawla, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Paytm Payments Bank, spoke about the venture, saying that their partnership with the Patna Airport is a step towards a hassle-free travel experience. He stated that by using FASTags at all their FASTag-based parking lots, visitors and passengers can now go through entry and exit gates quickly with proper payment. As the largest issuer and acquirer of FASTags in the country, Paytm Payments Bank now provides a smooth and easy nationwide payment option for toll and parking fees.
