Pakistani Hajj Delegation Praises Saudi Arabia’s Superior Hajj Facilities

Pakistan’s Hajj mission has praised Saudi Arabia for its exceptional facilities and arrangements for this year’s annual pilgrimage. All Pakistani pilgrims have arrived in Mina ahead of the Hajj’s climax at Mount Arafat, and the Saudi authorities have increased facilities and improved air conditioning in camps for those staying overnight. Two main hospitals and a number of dispensaries have been established in Mina, and dedicated lost and found and information cells have been set up to assist pilgrims. This year, Pakistan is expected to send over 80,000 pilgrims under the government scheme, and private tour operators are facilitating the rest. The Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam, and it is essential that all Muslims undertake it at least once in their lifetime if they have the means to do so. The pilgrimage includes four days of rites undertaken in and around Makkah in western Saudi Arabia, and it culminates in a profound spiritual experience for pilgrims at Mount Arafat.
