The Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police have recovered around 2.5 kilograms of suspected narcotics that was dropped by a Pakistan drone in the Fazilka district of Punjab. A joint search operation led to the discovery of the drugs and the apprehension of two suspects. During the interrogation, three packets of suspected heroin were confiscated from one of the individual’s homes. The package is believed to have been delivered by a drone a few days ago and then concealed inside the house. A case has been registered, and further investigation is being conducted. This is not the first time that Pakistan has used drones to deliver drugs; on May 29, the BSF and Punjab Police seized approximately four kilograms of suspected narcotics dropped by a Pakistan drone in the Taran Taran region of the state in a combined operation.
