Pakistani Businessman Survived Plane Incident Before Tragic Titanic Tourist Submersible Death

Pakistani businessman and tycoon Shahzada Dawood, who was among the five people who died on a tourist submersible, had survived a terrifying ordeal on a plane in 2019. Dawood and his son, Suleman, were aboard the submersible when it suffered a catastrophic implosion and vanished near the wreckage of the Titanic. The search, led by rescuers from the US and Canada, ended after they found a debris field in the search area. Dawood’s wife Christine Dawood revealed that her husband was previously involved in a horrific flight where the plane plunged while flying through a storm. In a blog post, she detailed how the plane took a deep plunge and dropped more than three to five meters, which is very unusual. The pilot announced that he would try landing from a different angle after more turbulence. The small submarine, in which Dawood disappeared, lost communication with its mothership in less than two hours when it descended to the Titanic, which sits more than two miles below the ocean’s surface and 400 miles off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada. Ships and planes from the US and Canadian coast guards, as well as a robot sent from France, scoured 10,000 square miles of surface water for the vessel. The Coast Guard announced earlier on Thursday that an underwater robot had discovered a debris field in the search area.
