Pakistan Army Soldier Martyred, 3 Terrorists Killed in Quetta Attack
At least one security forces personnel was martyred and another injured in a terrorist attack in Quetta on Friday. The incident took place near Wali Tangi when militants launched an assault on a security forces post. In the ensuing firefight, three terrorists were killed by the retaliatory firing of the security forces. Tragically, Pakistan Army soldier Subedar Qaiser Raheem made the ultimate sacrifice while defending his country. Another soldier sustained injuries during the engagement.
Expressing his condemnation of the attack, National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf paid homage to the brave soldier who lost his life in the line of duty. The attack underscores the commitment of Pakistan’s security forces in thwarting the activities of those seeking to disrupt peace and progress in the nation.
