Security forces in Manipur have busted ten militant bunkers in Kangpokpl district and recovered over 1,100 arms and 13,702 pieces of ammunition that had been looted during ethnic violence on May 3. The attackers had reportedly stolen thousands of sophisticated arms and ammunition from various police stations and security posts. The Manipur government has also tasked the National Investigation Agency (NIA) with investigating an IED blast case on June 21 in Bishnupur district, which left three people injured. The government has appealed to people to assist in restoring normality across the state.
