When asked about the consensus on the prime ministerial face, Yechury responded, The media should wait and cross the bridge when we reach it. This suggests that the participants of the meeting are focused on discussing their strategies and plans rather than prematurely addressing the issue of a potential prime ministerial candidate.
D Raja, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI), remarked that the BJP is alarmed by the Opposition Meeting. He mentioned that after the Karnataka elections, a meeting was held in Patna where all participating parties unanimously resolved to fight together against the BJP. Raja further emphasized that the current meeting in Bengaluru has rattled the BJP even more, as it signifies a broader participation and commitment from different political groups.
