Opposition parties in India are expected to convene in Patna on June 12th, according to a key aide of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Senior JD(U) leader Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that most parties opposing the BJP are expected to participate in the extremely important meeting. He added that the opposition believes the BJP will not win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections if they put up a united front. Mocking the Modi government’s Nau saal bemisaal campaign, Chaudhary criticized the government, claiming Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals had been forgotten over the past nine years.
