A total of 559 missing children have been recovered in the state of Chhattisgarh, India, under the ‘Operation Muskaan’ campaign, according to a recent official statement. The campaign, which took place from June 1 to June 30, 2023, was conducted by the Chhattisgarh police under the supervision of Inspector General of Police CID SC Dwivedi. Among them, 76 were rescued from Janjgir-Champa, 56 from Raipur, 52 from Bilaspur, and 52 from Sakti. The remaining children were rescued from various other districts.
