OpenAI Unveils GPT-4: A Powerful Multimodal Language Model with Enhanced Creativity and Reasoning Skills
Leading artificial intelligence lab, OpenAI, founded by Elon Musk and Sam Altman, has recently introduced GPT-4, the successor to their highly popular language model, GPT-3. In an official blog post, OpenAI announced that GPT-4 is a multimodal model, capable of accepting both image and text inputs and providing text outputs.
Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, took to Twitter to express his excitement about GPT-4, describing it as the most capable and aligned model to date. However, Altman acknowledged that the model is not without flaws, stating that while it is more creative, it hallucinates less and is less biased compared to previous versions, it still has limitations.

GPT-3, launched in 2020, was trained on an impressive 175 billion parameters, making it the largest neural network ever created. Since then, OpenAI has continuously fine-tuned GPT-3, releasing the GPT-3.5 series in 2022.
With the release of GPT-4, OpenAI claims that this latest version can process up to 25,000 words, approximately eight times more than GPT-3. Moreover, GPT-4 can process images and handle more nuanced instructions, surpassing the capabilities of GPT-3.5.
To access GPT-4, users need to subscribe to ChatGPT Plus, a $20 monthly subscription that provides premium access to the service. As of now, GPT-4 usage is limited to 100 messages every four hours.
