In a tragic incident in Kaduna State, Nigeria, a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) named Grace Chalya Silas was fatally stabbed by unknown assailants during her morning exercise. The incident, believed to be a case of armed robbery, occurred on Thursday morning in Barnawa, according to the Kaduna State Police.

According to ASP Mansir Hassan, the Public Relations Officer for the Kaduna State Police, Grace Silas was accosted by some thugs who intended to steal her phone while she was exercising along GRA road.
