NorthEast United FC has secured the signing of Soraisham Dinesh Singh on a two-year contract, according to the latest transfer news. The Indian Super League (ISL) club announced the acquisition as they continue to strengthen their squad for the upcoming 2023-24 football season.
Dinesh, a versatile defender born in Manipur, began his professional career with Real Kashmir in 2016 after spending some time with Shillong Lajong and Royal Wahingdoh at the youth level. He then returned to his home state to play for TRAU FC, where he spent three seasons and helped the team achieve promotion to the I-League.
In the 2021-22 season, Dinesh joined Sreenidi Deccan, an ISL newcomer, and impressed with his performances over the next two seasons. Now, following in the footsteps of his elder brother Soraisham Sandeep Singh, the 25-year-old has made the move to an Indian Super League club.

Dinesh Singh is the sixth new signing for NorthEast United FC and the third defender in this transfer window, following in the footsteps of Konsam Phalguni Singh, Ibson Melo, Redeem Tlang, Buanthanglun Samte, and Michel Zabaco.
