The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has offered a reward of Rs 3 lakh for information leading to the capture of Ayoob TA, a suspect wanted in connection with the Popular Front of India (PFI) case in Kerala. The PFI is accused of attempting to create tension between different communities in Kerala and persuading vulnerable youth to join terrorist groups such as Al-Qaida and ISIS to establish the rule of Islam in India. The NIA has said that Ayoob is part of a larger group of PFI members who aspire to carry out terror attacks as part of violent Jihad. The NIA executed a search warrant in Kerala in January and made one arrest connected to the PFI case.
