Trayveon Williams co-authors paper with Alex Sinatra for Harvard
Cincinnati Bengals running back Trayveon Williams has made an impactful foray into academia, recently completing his first class at Texas A&M University School of Law. Williams, who is co-teaching another semester of sports law alongside Professor Alex Sinatra, has taken his scholarly pursuits further by co-authoring a paper for Harvard Law School’s Journal of Sports and Entertainment with Sinatra.
Titled College Athletics and NIL: Perspectives from a Practitioner and an Athlete, the paper delves into the current law surrounding name, image, and likeness (NIL) and athlete advocacy. It features insights from Sinatra, Williams, and other influential figures in the field.
