Tipsy Putt Mini Golf, the new urban oasis in Sunnyvale, is set to offer residents and workers a unique recreational experience right in the heart of downtown. As developers continue to construct residential and office buildings in the area, Tipsy Putt adds an exciting element to the live, work, play concept they’re trying to create.

Located just three blocks away from the Sunnyvale Caltrain station, Tipsy Putt is part of the Cityline mixed-use project. The developers behind Cityline, Hunter Partners and Sares Regis Group of Northern California, envision it as a place where people can unwind and relax without having to travel far. Its convenient location across the street from The Martin, a 12-story high-rise that will soon house 479 residential units, adds to its appeal.

Vincent Scott, Executive Vice President at CBRE, describes Cityline as a community for young professionals who desire proximity to work while also being able to raise a family. Scott, along with CBRE Senior Vice President Mike Benevento, is overseeing office leasing for the two seven-story office buildings currently under construction as part of Cityline.

According to Josh Rupert, the Director of Development for Hunter Partners, Cityline’s retail component is expected to draw a significant crowd. Rupert cites the success of Whole Foods Market and AMC movie theater, which opened during the project’s initial phase and managed to thrive despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

While Cityline focuses on providing a range of dining and retail options, it aims to complement rather than compete with the businesses along Murphy Avenue in Sunnyvale’s historic downtown. Scott emphasizes the importance of supporting existing enterprises, stating that Cityline’s success is intertwined with the success of these local establishments.

Construction on The Martin and the two office buildings is projected to be completed by late 2024, as per Scott. Furthermore, Cityline’s first two housing developments, consisting of 300 units, have already reached nearly full occupancy. Tipsy Putt, situated on the first floor of one of these developments, adds a fun and entertaining dimension to the community.

Cityline’s aim is to bring people together at all times of the day, fostering a vibrant and thriving atmosphere. The developers have successfully created a space where residents and office employees can enjoy a respite without having to commute elsewhere. With its indoor miniature golf course and taproom, Tipsy Putt offers a unique blend of relaxation and recreation, making it a valuable addition to the Sunnyvale community.

As this exciting development continues, it is clear that Cityline and Tipsy Putt are contributing to the transformation of Sunnyvale into a dynamic urban oasis, seamlessly blending work, play, and residential spaces. With its strategic location, diverse amenities, and commitment to existing local businesses, Cityline is fostering a sense of community and ensuring a bright future for Sunnyvale as a premier destination for both residents and workers.
