New GHMC Commissioner Takes Charge and Emphasizes Coordination
Ronald Rose assumes the role of GHMC Commissioner, replacing D.S. Lokesh Kumar, who served as the incumbent. In a meeting with department heads, zonal commissioners, and deputy commissioners, Rose emphasized the importance of coordination and teamwork in achieving the goals of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
One of the key aspects Rose addressed was the functioning of the newly established ward offices. He urged the zonal and deputy commissioners to closely monitor their operations and take necessary steps to start functioning in those areas where they have not yet been operational.
Rose also highlighted the importance of sanitation and directed the deputy commissioners to conduct daily tours of the circles to oversee the progress of sanitation work. This initiative aims to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the areas under GHMC’s jurisdiction.
As Rose takes charge, appreciation was given to the outgoing commissioner, D.S. Lokesh Kumar, by Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, K.T. Rama Rao. Kumar was recognized for his commendable work as the longest-serving GHMC Commissioner.
With Ronald Rose assuming the position of GHMC Commissioner, it is expected that his emphasis on coordination and monitoring will bring about positive changes in the functioning and efficiency of the corporation. His directives regarding the ward offices and sanitation are crucial steps towards achieving the vision of a clean and well-managed Hyderabad.
As the new commissioner settles into his role, it is hoped that his leadership will drive innovation and improve the overall quality of life for the residents of Hyderabad.
