Mumbai, India – Mumbai has reported four new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the city to 11,63,877. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) confirmed the new cases and revealed that the total count of recoveries had reached 11,44,052, with three patients recovering over the past 24 hours.
The number of deaths attributed to the virus remained unchanged at 19,773. The BMC’s latest bulletin showed that 542 swab samples were tested during the day, taking the total number of tests so far to 1,88,84,770.
The city currently has 52 active coronavirus cases, and the recovery rate stands at an impressive 98.3%. The bulletin also stated that the overall growth rate in COVID-19 cases for the period of June 5 to June 11 was 0.0005%.
The city is continuing to work hard to control the spread of the virus as the number of cases remains relatively low. However, authorities are stressing the importance of adhering to COVID-19 guidelines to prevent a potential second wave.
