Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as ‘Prachanda’, recently paid a four-day visit to India, where he called on Indian President Droupadi Murmu. The two leaders discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries, with Murmu highlighting the importance of reviving the spiritual tourist circuit between India and Nepal to boost tourism. She also expressed confidence in Prachanda’s ability to take India-Nepal relations to new heights, given his experience and previous association with India. Prachanda also held bilateral talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House before laying a wreath at Raj Ghat in Delhi. This marks Prachanda’s fourth visit to India since assuming office in December 2020.
