Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has gifted a portrait of Nepali Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda made from discarded cloth pieces. The artist Anita Pal made the portrait in just one day from pieces of clothes collected at a Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (RRR) centre run by the Indore Municipal Corporation. Prachanda’s visit to India has been fruitful in terms of establishing better connectivity, energy, and water resource management systems. The two neighbouring countries also inked seven agreements and launched six projects including new railway services. The portrait is a symbol of Indore’s cleanliness culture, which has been adjudged as India’s cleanest city for six consecutive years.
