Saudi Arabia’s Neom and MDLBeast have joined forces to create an ultra-modern beach club on the luxurious Sindalah island within the $500 billion Neom megaproject. The Sindalah Beach Club, situated on the shores of the Red Sea, aims to offer immersive experiences inspired by music and culture throughout the year.
As the annual Soundstorm festival organizer, MDLBeast will oversee the music scene at Sindalah, curating a lineup of world-famous musicians, artists, and DJs, as well as incorporating cutting-edge audio and visual installations.
The collaboration between Neom and MDLBeast seeks to reimagine the beach club experience by infusing technological advancements while ensuring environmental preservation. The architecture of the beach club is designed to seamlessly blend with the surrounding natural environment, minimizing any ecological footprint.
Ramadan Alharatani, the CEO of MDLBeast, believes that this partnership is a pivotal moment in redefining the beach club experience as his company expands its role beyond music programming. In addition to the music offerings, MDLBeast will introduce exclusive VIP areas, a signature retail venue, and various dining outlets, enhancing the overall guest experience.
Sindalah, shaped like a seahorse, will be the first section of the megacity to welcome tourists, launching later this year. Spanning 840,000 square meters along the Red Sea, the island emphasizes the preservation of natural beauty, with the majority of its surroundings remaining untouched.
Apart from the Sindalah Beach Club, the luxury island will feature a large marina, yacht club, spa and wellness center, and 51 luxury retail outlets. It will also boast the Gulf Cooperation Council’s first island golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, featuring a nine-hole layout, a 280-meter driving range, and golf practice suites. Additionally, it will house a sports club with training facilities, an Olympic-size swimming pool, spa, and courts.
Three Marriott properties are set to be the inaugural resorts on Sindalah, including the kingdom’s first Autograph Collection Hotels property. The Autograph Collection Hotels resort will include futuristic elements, 66 rooms and suites, one and two-bedroom villas, various dining options, a children’s club, and a luxury spa. Marriott’s Luxury Collection beach resort will offer 70 luxury rooms and suites, as well as one to four-bedroom villas, all featuring private pools. The central marina district will host an all-suite property with 115 luxury residences, several dining options, guest experiences, and leisure facilities.
With 413 premium hotel rooms, 88 villas, 333 serviced apartments, and a wide range of dining options, Sindalah is projected to receive 2,400 visitors daily by 2028, generating approximately 3,500 employment opportunities.
