NASCAR has announced a new seven-year media rights deal for its Cup Series, with a total worth of approximately $1.1 billion per year. The deal represents a 40 percent increase over the current package. The races will be divided among Fox Sports, Amazon, TNT/Max, and NBC. Fox will broadcast 14 Cup races annually in the first half of the season, including the Daytona 500. Amazon’s Prime Video will exclusively live-stream five events, marking the first time NASCAR’s premier series will be exclusively live-streamed. The next five Cup races will be carried by Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD) and will be simulcast on both TNT and the B/R Sports tier on its Max streaming service. NBC Sports will broadcast the final 14 races, including the championship finale. The new deal also includes streaming rights and highlight rights for various platforms. The agreement covers the Cup Series practice and qualifying sessions, with Amazon Prime streaming the sessions at the start of each season. WBD will carry these events for the rest of the season, with sessions streamed on Max and simulcast on truTV.
