Nagpur Water Supply Disrupted for 5 Days Due to Reservoir Power Trip

Water supply to some areas of Nagpur in India has been hit for five days due to a power failure at the Navegaon Khairi reservoir. Despite the Nagpur Municipal Corporation claiming that the issue would be resolved within a day, some areas have not had any water since June 21. The lack of drinking water has caused concern and complaints, with citizens claiming that private operator Orange City Water Private has not acted upon their customer service requests. Former deputy mayor Satish Holey has criticised the NMC and private contractor OCW for failing to ensure continued power to the area.
