During a press conference in Kohima, Imna Along claimed that Modi’s government has been dedicated to inclusive, sustainable development and has brought the politics of development to the forefront. He stated that since assuming office in 2014, Modi has remained committed to putting India first in every policy and action, achieving a variety of goals before set deadlines. Imna Along claimed that Modi’s government has brought about a paradigm shift in public service delivery and the implementation of government schemes while also championing environmental protection and the preservation and promotion of Indian cultural heritage. He cited programs such as Pradhan Mantri Dhan Yojana, Recognition of Prior Learning, and Khelo India, as examples of increased funding for development activities in Nagaland.
