The Naga Club has filed a petition at the Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench, requesting the quashing of criminal proceedings involved in the Naga Students’ Federation’s (NSF) FIR. The complaint was made after the office of the NSF, located in the Naga Club building, was vandalized. The Kohima police have already arrested three people in connection with this case. The court ordered the petitioner to furnish copies of the petition to the public prosecutor and provide the NSF with notice. The case diary is expected to be produced on June 5. The court has granted the petitioner permission to issue an additional affidavit and ordered them to appear before the Investigating Officer within three days from the date of the order.
