Mystery Surrounds Gruesome Murder of 18-Year-Old Fatima Alhaji Bukar in Matrimonial Home – Police Investigate
The tragic and brutal murder of 18-year-old Fatima Alhaji Bukar in her matrimonial home in Maiduguri has left the people of Nigeria’s Borno State in shock. The capital city remains gripped by the mystery surrounding this heinous crime as the police launch a thorough investigation.

One relative, Salma, expressed the pain and sadness of seeing an innocent life taken away, leaving behind a traumatized child. Their neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, mentioned that the husband lived an isolated life and prevented Fatima from interacting with others in the neighborhood.
As the investigation unfolds, the Borno State Police Command has detained the husband, Adamu Alhaji Ibrahim, and another individual named Bukar Wadiya as prime suspects. The police spokesperson, ASP Sani Kamilu Mohammed, revealed that the couple had been engaged in a domestic dispute over the husband’s alleged extramarital affairs.
During the search of their home, the police uncovered several disturbing items, including a short pestle, a bag of rope, a blood-stained rug carpet, a knife, and a Honda vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry, and only the husband possessed the key to the house. The police will continue their discreet investigation for a thorough prosecution.
