WB Games and Player First Games have announced the highly-anticipated return of MultiVersus, the free-to-play fighting game featuring characters from Warner Bros.’ owned properties, after a nearly year-long hiatus. Set to launch on May 28, the game had initially gained popularity during an Open Beta period in July 2022 but faced a decline in interest, leading to its temporary shutdown in March 2023 for refining ahead of a 2024 release. However, fans can now rejoice as the improved and updated version of MultiVersus is set to make a comeback with new characters, stages, visuals, moves, cross-play support, and a PvE gameplay mode, ensuring an enhanced gaming experience across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
