A group of three students from the Department of Telecommunication Engineering at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro in Pakistan have secured second place at the Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 in Shenzhen City, China. The team, consisting of Mariyam, Muhammad Faiz, and Asad Anwar, took part in the networking track of the competition from May 24 to 28, 2023. A total of 146 teams of student males and females from 2,000 higher learning institutions worldwide participated in the last leg of the competition, where the Mehran University team achieved a remarkable feat under the supervision of Dr. Fahim Yar Khuhawar.
