IT services company Mphasis has announced the acquisition of eBECS Limited, a UK-based Microsoft Gold Partner that delivers Total Microsoft Business Solutions and Managed Services. While the deal’s financials have not been disclosed, Mphasis revealed that completion is dependent on certain closing conditions. Mphasis hopes that the acquisition will enhance its UK business by increasing its ability to address client needs and adding significant value, bringing in marquee client relationships and innovative delivery and customer engagement models via Microsoft’s business applications. In a separate announcement, Mphasis expressed a goal to become carbon neutral by 2030 and vowed to eliminate carbon dioxide emissions from its facilities and operations.
